About Nursery

Our nursery is based inside Valentines Park and benefits from a beautiful outdoor environment and provides a varied range of indoor and outdoor learning opportunities. Having a large garden at the front as well as one at the back allows our children to continue their learning outdoors.

You’ll love our location inside Valentines Park. The park has been given a Green Flag Award and has been voted top ten in the country in the UK 2019 People’s Choice awards

OUR ROOMS

Our baby room provides a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants to grow and develop. The room is designed to be cosy and inviting, creating a homely feel where babies feel safe, comfortable, and secure.

We focus on the three prime areas of learning, offering a range of sensory activities such as water play, painting, and sand or soil exploration. The room is thoughtfully organised into different zones, including a creative area, messy area, home corner, construction area, and sensory play space, allowing babies to explore and engage in structured learning experiences.

Our setting benefits from a spacious outdoor area designed exclusively for babies, featuring a mix of real grass and astroturf. This secure space includes mini play equipment to support early physical development, helping little ones build strength, balance, and coordination. In addition, our dedicated baby garden provides a safe and stimulating environment for exploration, complete with a playhouse, bridge, slide, and sand/water tray to encourage active play, curiosity, and sensory discovery.
Our Toddler Room provides a spacious environment where children can develop their independence, confidence, and social skills. Created to inspire exploration and learning through play, the room includes dedicated areas for creative activities, messy play, role play, construction, and sensory experiences

Our carefully planned curriculum focuses on key areas of development, including communication, physical skills, and personal, social, and emotional growth, while also introducing the specific areas of the EYFS. Engaging activities like music, movement, storytelling, and outdoor play further enhance the children’s learning experiences.

The toddlers have access to a large outdoor garden, complete with a climbing frame, mud kitchen, and sand and water play. They also enjoy the freedom to engage in free-flow activities between their room and the garden, providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration and play.

We also support our parents with potty training, ensuring a smooth and successful transition
Our preschool building is a vibrant and welcoming space designed to support young learners in a nurturing environment. Situated within the picturesque park, it features spacious classrooms, interactive play areas, and modern facilities to encourage creativity and development. We offer a comprehensive early childhood education program that focuses on hands-on learning, social skills, and emotional growth. Through play-based activities, children have the opportunity to explore language, mathematics, science, and the arts.

The preschoolers also enjoy a spacious outdoor area where they can unleash their creativity and bring their favourite stories to life. The outdoor space features a climbing frame, playhouse, mud kitchen, and a sand/water station, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration and imaginative play. With the benefit of free-flow play, children can choose whether to engage indoors or outdoors, promoting independence and decision-making.
The sensory room has been specifically designed to support babies, toddlers, and preschool children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It offers a range of sensory experiences, including various textures, sounds, and visuals, alongside lots of different lights that create a stimulating and calming environment. This space encourages sensory exploration, emotional regulation, and development through play, providing a safe and supportive environment for children to thrive.
All of our meals are freshly prepared and cooked on-site each day. Our Valentines branch is equipped with two kitchens, specifically designed to allow our chefs to create delicious meals for your little ones.

We provide five meals throughout the day at the nursery: breakfast (8am), morning snack (9:30am), lunch (11am), afternoon snack (2pm), and tea (3:30pm).

We serve Halal chicken and lamb, and we also accommodate various dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and more.
